Cards on the table, score on the phone.
Baloot is the national card game of Saudi Arabia, played across the Gulf: four players in two teams buy the turned-up card as Hokm, with trumps, or as Sun, without, and the score runs to 152. This app takes the place of the pencil and paper: it knows who deals, turns card points into game points, spots a lost deal and keeps the score to the end.

Everything you used to scribble in the margin
The app knows the rules of Baloot, so all that’s left at the table is to play and call out the points.
Two teams of two
Four players, partners sitting opposite. Use your own names or just “Us” and “Them”.
Hokm and Sun
Mark who bought and what: Hokm, with trumps, a deal worth 16 game points, or Sun, without, worth 26. Enter one side’s points and the app gives the rest to the other.
Double, three, four and gahwa
Mark how high the stake went: a double, three or four multiplies the deal, and a gahwa settles the whole game at once.
A lost deal
Did the buyer take less than the opponents? That’s LOST — the whole deal goes to the opponents, projects and all.
Projects and the baloot
Sira, fifty, hundred, four hundred and the baloot, counted with “−” and “+”. The app turns them into game points and gives them to the side they belong to.
Rules to hand
The rules of Baloot are built in — in all seven of the app’s languages, no internet needed. Or read them in advance right here.
Your game stays on your phone
The app collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere. The privacy policy is short, because there is very little to say.
